Michael the Archangel was his name and he was the leader of all the angels up in heaven. God asked him to go all the way down to earth to personally bury Moses' body. By the time he reached the stratosphere, his wings were a little tired, but he flew on swiftly because he knew it was important to make sure he got to Moses first.

 

Eventually he reached the troposphere and as he passed through the clouds, he could see Mount Nebo. Shortly thereafter, he spotted Moses' limp body lying on the ground and he swooped down and gently placed his arms under Moses' waist. He was about to lift off to where Moses was to be buried when, all of a sudden, he could sense something evil approaching.
