Jesus quickly made it through the earth's crust and entered Abraham's Bosom. It was a lovely day there, and he could hear the birds singing as soon as he entered.

Jesus had a very important mission in Abraham's Bosom. You see, this is also where the great heroes of the Old Testament went when they died. These were heroes from Bible stories of the past, like Abraham, Joshua, and Noah. Even though they were great men, they were still sinners, so they hadn't been able to enter into the holy presence of God yet. They needed Jesus to die for their sins first. Now that Jesus had successfully died, he was on his way to rescue them from the abode of the dead and take them with him to Heaven. He was looking forward to seeing them because he hadn't actually talked to any of them since they'd become dead.
