When the Israelites were in the wilderness, they were guided by the Lord. He took the form of a cloud which hovered above the Ark of the Covenant, where the Ten Commandments were kept. Whenever the cloud settled on the ark, the people would set up camp, and whenever it lifted from the ark, the people would break camp and follow it.

One day, while the Israelites were camped in the wilderness of Sinai, near the Lord's mountain, the cloud lifted from the ark. The people rose to follow, but they were going to wish they had been in a better mood...
