It would be another three days and three nights before Jesus rose from the dead so they had a bit of time to kill. Some just sat in their tombs, while others got up and had a good stretch. Some of the more sociable dead saints went around and introduced themselves. They chatted about what it had been like to be dead for so long and how strange it felt to be alive again.

But by the third day, they were getting pretty bored and restless. And on top of that, they were getting really, really hungry because there was nothing to eat in the graveyard. Finally, at the end of the third day, Jesus did rise from the dead, so they knew it was time to head into town and start appearing to people.
