The people couldn’t believe how much rain there was and when the water started to reach their knees they began to get a little concerned. When it got to their waists they began to get really scared. They told their children to stand on rocks, but the water kept rising and rising. Eventually it reached up to their chests and the people knew their lives were now in serious danger.

As the water reached their necks the people realized they were going to die. Mothers held their babies above the water but they knew that shortly after it passed their noses they would not be able to hold them any longer. Eventually, all you could hear was screaming followed by the muffled sounds of people going under. It was like the scene from Titanic, only times a few million.
