Jacob was finally on his way home. He had been working for his uncle for many years and married two if his daughters, Rachel and Leah. Uncle Laban did not want Jacob to leave because he knew Jacob was a man of God, and he believed he was being blessed while Jacob lived with him. But Jacob was homesick, and he wanted to patch things up with his brother, Esau. You see, Jacob had cheated his bother out of his inheritance when they were younger.
